I have been trying for the past couple of days to work out why stubs, skeletons and helper classes will not generate when I build my EJB's home interface. This means that when I run the bean in the container a classnotfound exception is generated as no helper classes are present.

I have success on another pc(win 98) which is ten times slower than the pc I would like to work on(win 2k). The project properties, Enterprise settings and tool configurations (visiBroker Smart step & RMI Registry) are exactly the same on both PCs.

Can anyone stop me from digressing into the depths of insanity?

I discovered that a recent installation of Oracle had installed a later version of a javai.dll. After ensuring there was an older version of the dll, I removed the newer DLL and hey presto, stubs, skeletons, helper classes, the lot.
