I wrote a simple servlet to connect to an Oracle8 Database on
Linux 7.2 via JDBC. The servlet returns the following error:

Error 500
Internal Server Errors:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver
at .....

I added classes111.zip to the classpath.
I renamed classes111.zip to classes111.jar and placed that
in the classpath as well.
Still no luck.
How should I approach this problem?

Thanks,

I've used the classes12.zip file. This has the latest version of the JDBC drivers that you need. You don't need to rename it to "jar", just put the fully qualified path name

"//classes12.zip" in the classpath.

What does your connect string look like?

Hope this helps.
