I am having a C program called HelloWorld.c. In that i am calling a method of a shared object(/vs/lib/libspp.so - which is an properitory shared object of an vendor). called VSstartup. Now i am compiling my C program and making an .so called libHelloWorld.so. This is the command i am using for making the .so. cc -G -I/usr/java/include -I/usr/java/include/unixware HelloWorld.c -o libHelloWorld.so My compilation went through with out errors. Now i am try running my java program. It throws an error saying that "Symbol not found: VSstartup rerferenced from libHelloWorld.so" Why i am getting this error. CAn anybody help in this.
