Platform: Windows 2000 and also windows 98 SW: jBuilder 5 Enterprise Tomcat 3.2 Soap 2.2 I have set up a SOAP service on another machine, and want to access it from a jsp. When I make a Java Application which calls the service within jBuilder, it works fine. I have checked the libraries of tomcat, and it should be ok.

Does anyone knows what the problem is?

I tried to install the jsp on another server, but with tomcat 4.0.1 and no jBuilder. This works fine.

In advance, thanks.

Hi

I did found out what to do at last. Follw these steps:

  • Select Project/Project properties
  • Choose the Server tab
  • Press Setup
  • Select Classes tab, and press Add
  • Select the file libxerces.jar, and press Ok
  • Press Move Up until xerces.jar is on the top <-- Important

This should do the trick.

You did the right thing. Check if in the classpath soap library has been included more than once. If not... try using a different stable release of soap.

Let us know if you solve the problem (and how to face it).
