I use
Calendar calendar = new GregorianCalendar(2001, 0, 1);
java.sql.Date date = new java.sql.Date(calendar.getTime().getTime());
to get a Date type,but when I use SQL to insert it into a Date type field ,it said that that was wrong.
How can I insert a Date into a Date type field.

what is the exception you are getting? and how are you trying to store date?

In the insert command change the format of the Date .The new format should be in the way Oracle Stores Date in the database.
