Multiple applications in Tomcat

My servlets use classes that load configuration data from *.properties using FileInputStream. As opposed to ResourceBundle, which reads in the classes directory, FileInputStream reads in my Tomcat home directory. But I need to run the same application x times with different properties. Is it possible to configure Tomcat to serve multiple applications with a property folder for each of them ??? If not then I have to try virtual servers I guess.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Well, if you, for example, put the properties file in the /WEB-INF of each web application, you can run how many web application you want in the same instance of Tomcat, each will be fully portable, with its own properties file.
