Is there any way i can pack jar files in my EJB?, i know the EJB itself is to be contained in a jar file (kinda recursive :))

But i need to know if its possible, thanks to all in advance.

Iván.

just put the jar file that you want to access from EJB in the ejb jar file (so you will have a jar within a jar). also, include a manifest for ejb jar file that has classpath which points to jar file(s) that are in ejb jar file. manifest should look like this.

Main-Class: does.not.matter.Bean
Class-Path: log4j.jar

in this example, log4j.jar will be jarred into ejb jar along with home, remote and bean implementation classes and ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptor.
