I am exploring the possibility of writing a SIP stack using the antlr tool to generate the sip parser. I went to the http://www.antd.nist.gov/proj/iptel/ web site and got a copy of the grammar file and tried to use it with the latest version 2.7.1 and it fails. Given enough time I might be able to figure it out but I thought it might be a no-brainer for someone who knows. It is my intent to generate a C++ parser rather than java which is how the government project mentioned above was implemented. I will continue to read more and learn about this tool but any answers I receive in the meantime will be very much appreciated.

Hi. Unless the grammar you have is specifically designed for ANTLR it won't just ""drop in."" You'd have to modify it for ANTLR. Sorry.
