I passed SCJP 2 - Check out http://www.geocities.com/chic_notes/ - good set of questions.

Why the job marke is so slow? Should I think about my own programming business in JAVA? Any Ideas?

Depends on the environment where you live. Here in Italy, the IT market is good, but we are overwhelmed by taxes :-<
