I am using windows98 and I am trying to execute the following program, stcmd. I am using command.com instead of cmd.exe because I am using win98. Below is how I execute my exec method: When the dos window pops up I recieve a message error box stating: "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be terminated... Fault location: 0028:0017 Interrupts in service: None" If anyone has any idea on what is causing this I would appreciate it. Thanks, -- George    More>>

Try it without command.com. Instead specify "stcmd" for the executable attribute. If you are executing command.com builtin commands like dir you must use command.com, otherwise specify the command directly. You should also remove the "/c".
