I am using j2sdk 1.3 version on windows NT4.0.In the deployment tool i have assinged "defalut" i.e., "all users" for all the methods...but still i am getting the above mentioned exception..can anyone suggest and guide me...

Dude, got the same problem. I tried to twinkle the client.policy file in lib/security and adding my client jar to all permissions, and granting all permissions to everything, restarting the server - nothing works. Same exception. If you get the answer for it, let me know please, OK? If I will find it out I'll do the same. Thanks!
