I'm working with a JNI application originally written under 1.1.6. I've been tasked with updating it, fixing bugs, and improving overall performance. The JNI calls work fine under 1.1.6 and under 1.2, however, 1.3 fails to work correctly. It loads the library and makes the system calls, but the JNI return values are always null. I would like to get this working under 1.3 as that is our supported production environment. I think it may have something to do with
HotSpot but have no real way of testing
this, since -classic is not valid under
Solaris. All the JNI resources I've been
able to find on the web don't seem to
indicate that this is a problem. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
