I would like more detail about how serialization works.
From what I've read, in the deserialization of local objects that are passed in RMI method calls, only the class name is passed and the class is loaded. Is it loaded every time it is deserialized?
If a remote object is instead passed in RMI method calls, how does it work? For example, a non-remote object A on the server contains a reference to a remote object B. Object A is passed around in RMI method calls and deserialized, as well as its reference Object B. What happens in the deserialization of Object B?
