File Loaded or Not?

How do I check to see if a file has been loaded. I am loading the file using FileInputStream.
I know you can find ou if a class is loaded by using the ClassLoader.
Does something exist which will let me check if a file is presently loaded.

I don't understand what you are after. You have to read the file to "load" it. Just creating a FileInputStream does nothing.
