where should i place the java .class files?(urgent)

hi all,
i have installed tomcat 4.0 on my computer and it was unable to locate my .class file which, i have placed in d:jakarta-tomcat-4.0webappsexamplesweb-infclasses
when i tried to call this java class file from a jsp file it is giving me a 500 internal server error.
please help me

Oh yeah, and everything's urgent to somebody. You should know that marking your message "urgent" is just impolite.

If you get a 500 internal server error you should look in the server logs for more detailed error message reports.

Is your jsp file in /examples?

have u added the file name of the import tag in the jsp file

Try that.
