I have a jtabel with 10 rows. When I add it to a large panel which uses gridbag layout I have lot of blank space added to the table at the end. The size of the blank space is sometimes larger than the rows. How do I show only the rows and not have any empty space after the columns

make the layout of panel to borderlayout
Add the table to the center of the panel
it will be better if u add scrollPane to the Center and add the table to the ScrollPane as u get scrollbars when the col length increases and look will be good
