I am trying to develop a web application that uses DOMs fairly heavily. I am pulling blobs from an Oracle database and then creating temporary files which I then use to create my DOMs. The problem is that I really do want these files to be temporary, but they can't be deleted due to some kind of "file sharing violation". Is anyone aware of how long the parser hangs on to these files? Should they not be available to delete as soon as the parse is finished?
