SyncML (short for "Synchronization Markup Language") is an XML-based markup language used to exchange information in calendars, address books, and the like. SyncML will be used by many J2ME-powered devices to synchronize user data with other devices and network services and applications.
The SyncML specifications also provide a common protocol for use in synchronizing data from mobile information devices to other devices and services.
