compatible with Sun Microsystems's Java Message Service (JMS) standard.

iBus//Mobile client applications are deployed onto J2ME (MIDP), PersonalJava,

or J2SE devices. They use message based communication

(message queuing, publish/subscribe, transactions) to interact with

J2EE applications running at the backend.

iBus//Mobile ensures the end-to-end delivery of important data,

over various wireless networks, in spite of mobile devices dropping

in and out of network coverage.

iBus//Mobile applications can be operated in disconnected (offline)
mode,

without loss of data. Synchronization between mobile device and backbend

application is automatic, reliable, and fully transparent to the end-user

as well as to the iBus//Mobile developer!

iBus//Mobile requires either the iBus//MessageServer or the BEA WebLogic

Server product to be deployed at the backend. This results in a scalable,
