I am writing a client server application which communicates on the serial port. Just for testing I tried to send a String to the server and then to send it back to the client. The client writes the received string into a TextArea.
I have problems receiving the string. Sometimes blocks of 8 bytes (the size of the read buffer on each side) get lost. The higher the baudrate is the more bytes get lost.
I am using the SerialEvent method from the Java-Communications-API-Sample: SimpleRead. The baudrate should be at least 57600. How could I change this method to solve the problem?
