I am using the built-in sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver up against a MS SQL server, and I can't seem to use methods like .previous() and .first(). Does anybody know how, and what driver to use?

The best drivers that I have used in several projects with MS SQL Server 7/2000 is from http://www.inetsoftware.de

They have the best benchmarks, prices and easy to use!

Good Luck!

Hi,
you can find a MySQL JDBC driver
here.

The 2.0.* drivers are JDBC 2 compliant. (but I don't know how compliant)

Also, this driver will probably be a little faster than the JDBC-ODBC bridge :)
