We have a large GUI intensive application using AWT components, when we tried to do a repetitive operation of opening and closing of dialogs ( like stress testing ) we found that the swap file is growing constantly and it is also observed that the JVM's heap size is also growing. At one point of time the swap file size reaches the maximum of 1 GB , the system performance is at the rock bottom and systems goes to a hang state. We tested a third party application in a similar way , and it is observed that the behaviour of swap file growing is found. We would like you suggest any way to solve this problem. Thanks & Regards    More>>
