Does anybody know how we can access active directory service from Java. Can we do this using JNDI. If we can not do this directly from java , can we do it through LDAP ie accessing LDAP through java and Active Directory through LDAP?
I will appreciate your help.

Hi,
JNDI is the decent way of interacting with any LDAP server from
Java applications. This stands good for Active Directory Server also.
All the thing we need is the provider class name and the LDAP
structure where u want to start searching ur data. Just having
this provider class changed, u have switch between different LDAP
servers.
