Hi,

I have a short JavaMail program that sends out a simple message to an email address.

However, my JavaMail program sends out the message successfully only if I open MS outlook. What could be the problem?

Phuong,
If you are sending your mail out via a dialup connection rather than across the LAN then it sounds like you might not be opening a connection. Have you got Outlook set to auto-connect? That might explain why when you open Outlook the mail from your program gets sent.
