SQL Server text column in prepared Statemet?

I am using prepared statement to insert data in my SQL Server ... my problem is that i am unable to insert values in text column.... i had tried
statement.setString(1,"some value");

but it would not inserting anything...

You need to check any and all Exceptions and Warnings. Also your driver. LOTS of people have problems with the non-production quality JDBC/ODBC bridge. If that's what you are using, the best advice is to get a real driver.
