The foll exception occurs when trying to process an xml & xsl file using XSLTProcessor.process method from xalan

error: Unable to perform transformation
javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: SAX Exception

any useful suggestions are most welcome

well, lets see some code here. SAXException is a generic exception while parsing and there can be many reasons why this happened. give us the source xml and xsl files, and version of jars that you are using.
