How would I dynamically set session variables in a bean that is being passed a session id.

I have a CGI that calls another Serverside application that allows for a subroutine written in Java to be called. When the CGI is called, it is passed the session id. How would I write a Javabean that could use the session id to set additional session variables?

I can't think of any general-purpose answer for this. It really depends on what your specific configuration is and how you are connecting to the "bean". It doesn't sound like the CGI setup is expecting a bean.
