Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the necessary commands/parameters to start a naming server client program by using JBuilder 5 Personal ??

For the 'VisiBroker for Java', the command is something like below:

vbj -DSVCnameroot=

The above one works fine when I run the program outside the JBuilder. But I like to run it in JBuilder. Any suggestions????

Best Regards,

In your JBuilder 'run' config, put in the following:

-DSVCnameroot=namingservice -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBClass=com.inprise.vbroker.orb.ORB -Dvbroker.agent.port=20000 package.YourClass

You need to check what ORB service is been installed with JB5, if its done you need to check with the pathmap and the classpath towards your ORB gateway

There are also other patch available for installing gateway and ORB files into your customizable toolbar in JB. you can try that too
