Which profile to use ..?

I have recently downloaded MIDP for palm OS. I am highly confused on using the profile, ie should i used MIDP or Kjava. I would also like to the difference between the two, like what can be done with one, cannot be done with the other.

kJava is not supported. kJava is the precursor of J2ME and you should not really use that API. Instead, Sun created the J2ME platform and the first profile under J2ME is the MIDP. Future profiles include PDA (based on CLDC) and Personal profile (based on CDC). Use MIDP/CLDC. MIDP/CLDC is targeted at cellphones and two-way/interactive pagers and can also by applied to low end PDAs.
