My user does not have jdk1.X installed , but I want to execute
the application (not Applet), how I do it , we know that
Browsers(IE, NS) have jdk support , please give me a detailed
process description, i.e., how a non java programmer can
execute the application

You needn't the whole jdk,
but a JRE (java runtime environment)

The problems is that a few
JREs can swirr around on a System.

%PROGRAM_FILES%JavaSoft
Is the place for sun-JREs
(Where %PROGRAM_FILES%
is not a real
Environment, but in the registry of
Windows systems retrievable)

Netscape has also had a JRE, but now
in 6.0 only the plugin is used,
not suitable for running Applications,
AFAIK.

BTW, you can redistribute the JRE
from Sun.
