Java Printing Nightmare!

I have a server that needs to print e-mail messages in an automated fashion to various network printers (depending on the message type) without user intervention. I have used both the PrinterJob and PrintJob objects for printing. The PrintJob object allows me to dynamically set the printer (a requirement for this implementation), however the PrinterJob object does not. The only problem is using the PrintJob method is painfully slow. It spools and spools before finally printing some time later. Using the PrinterJob object is much faster, but , again, I need to be able to select the printer dynamically. Is there any way to 1) improve the performance of printing with the Prin   More>>
