CLDC support Socket?

Hi,
i try to compile a program from JavaTanks . but when i compile it, compiler giving me error msg that java.net.* not found.

is that the latest cldc does not support socket class anymore?

no, there is no socket class or java.net package on the CLDC. the CLDC defines the Generic Connection Framework as the network API. kroll and haustein wrote a socket class wrapper on top of the generic connection framework (http://www.kawt.de)
