I am trying to install Netscape Directory Server 4.13 in Red Hat Linux and I encounter the following error:

A mandatory field AdminDomain not found in the install info file

Anyone know what I could do to resolve this

I found the problem with the previous error. But I have more now. I was wondering does anyone know where I can find an installation guide for netscape directory server 4.13 for Red Hat

HI Narmada,


AdminDomain is needed for every Directory server installation of Netscape/iPlanet.

usually the admindomain is the domain name of ur system and u would set this

at the time of installation only. using this, we can administer the server instances

on different machines.



just try installing again and go thru care fully the installation requirements.
