How can I retrieve a modal JDialog after switching to another application ?

When I open a modal JDialog and then switch to another application, I have to use the alt+tab touch to find the modal JDialog.
If I click on my application "icon" in the windows taskbar, I open the parent frame which is frozen (of course)...

How can I open my modal JDialog instead ?

Make your application frame parent of
your modal dialog.
