I have the data on the client side in form of DOM object, but when we go to some other page this object gets destroyed. So on clicking BACK or FORWARD button on the browser, this sends a request to server to again get the data. This is time consuming. Is there a way to cache this DOM object on the client for some time? so that it needn't go to the server again. Also, I am using XSL to display forms - suppose some forms don't need to get any data from the server and are forms to enter data. So is there a way to cache this XSL in client just like plain HTML pages - so that it needn't go to the server to fetch it.    More>>

I think if u store u r XML data as an hidden parameter in a FORM, and access it everytime from the REQUEST object.

Hope this helps
