Hi. I'm trying to send mail from a java application using the Javamail API. When the "to" address is just a user name (without the "@domain") it works fine. But when I try to send to a different domain (when I use an address like president@whitehouse.gov) I get the following error : javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed; nested exception is: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses; nested exception is: javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for president@whitehouse.gov . Relaying is a configuration of your mail server. You probably have to validate yourself with the SMTP server to prove that you are a valid user to it. Check the FAQ.
