How do I send mail with images ,which should not be shown as attachment?

I am trying to send mails with images,using cid ...as
( )


The image has been sent as attachment.
The image is displayed properly in the mail body.But,After the mail content, the same image (alone) is once again getting displayed.
But,this is not the case with background images.( )Background images has been sent properly.

The examples in the FAQ talk about using CID images. They work.
