I would like to know how to implement a mail server from the scratch?I'm a novice java programmer and if anybody know any of the link regarding the design and implementation of chat server then please mail me so that i can get the help

Your question is already answered in the FAQ. The JavaMail API is not meant for creating a mail server (MTA). It is for the user side (MUA).
