Are there any free tools(or commercial ones), with a Java API, that would allow dynamic PDF/MS Excel/MS Word/Text generation?

see www.lowagie.com/iText for a nice open-source package that creates PDF, HTML and XML files.

search "pdf" on www.freshmeat.net
You will find a lot of programs ..

There is one named "retepPDF" that should do what you need .... (it works for pdf only but i think i saw something for MS Word ...also).
