How can you stop an applet from caching?

I am working through a proxy server and currently running apache-tomcat as my web server.
Any changes that are made to the applet
are not being recognized when viewed through the appletviewer or Internet Explorer. Is there any way to stop an applet from caching?

I don't really have an answer, but I have the same problem, just a few spaces down. Maybe we can put our heads together and figure this one out. Could it be the proxy server? I have heard that proxy servers can be troublesome about caching and not recognizing changes to ASP files, could they be keeping our applets frozen? I'm operating in a proxy server environment too.

Is there a way to tell the proxy server not to cache CLASS files? I don't know much about proxy servers. Help, anyone?
