sir,

i am making a POP3 Server which will be accessed by OUTLOOK Express for retriving mail. I am not able to create the message format. Please tell me which RFC'S Should i refer to create a POP Message format.If u have any small example for message format kindly send it to me.

The appropriate FAQs for things like POP3 are already referenced in the JavaMail FAQ here.

For all RFC please go to FAQs. For the FAQ concerning POP3 read rfc1939. In email message MIME is used; for more information about MIME read the rfc2936 (MIME Type Handler Detection) and rfc2046 (MIME: Media Type).
Whenever Sun uses a standard they always include the rfc used in the API. JavaMail does have information about used standards.
