Environment is j2sdkee1.2.1 & jdk1.3

j2ee server is running.
I had a CORBA object registered with j2ee's name-server.(not tnameserv, at ORB port 1050 )
the CORBA demon is started ...
i can access this corba object and make the remote calls successfully with a
normal java client. no problem there.

but when i try to access the same CORBA
object from a session EJB, i cannot connect to the ORB
error message reads
minor code 1398079490

please suggest - very urgent
