Dear friends I have been using the XML for quite some time and recently I happened to query the DOM tree for using an xpath query which resulted into a null pointer exception. I am using IBM parser for the above mentioned case. Is that true that IBM parser doesn’t support XPATH? Added to that if I want to query an XML file all child nodes that has parents with specific attributes, how can I write this query. Example good rule bad rule good rule bad rule How can I retrieve rule node from the above file whose agent name is “red” Any help in this regard is highly appreciated With b   More>>

I am using IBM parser for the above mentioned case. Is that true that IBM parser doesn’t support XPATH?

Added to that if I want to query an XML file all child nodes that has parents with specific attributes, how can I write this query.

Example

How can I retrieve rule node from the above file whose agent name is “red”

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated
