i have done a project with vb6.0 as the front end and java as the back end. now i need a connectivity like between the crystal report and java.how do i do that?

I think you need to do some reading - try the Java Tutorial chapter
on networking at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/networking/index.html
