We've developed a J2EE framework to support our Application. The Business Function is supported by using Session Beans to interact with PL/SQL packages on the database. The java code to support the interaction between the EJB and the PL/SQL application was generated through the use of JDeveloper 3.1. Specifically by pointing JDeveloper at the PL/SQL package and including the resulting Java Code. After we make a database connection using JNDI we then try and use it and recieve an exception when the code encounters the code which is used to support the Oracle Types used by the PL/SQL code. It appears that the JNDI lookup is returning a standard database connection rather than an Oracle one. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?    More>>
