with this XML:

<?xml version="1.0"?>

xmlns:ino="http://namespaces.softwareag.com/tamino/response2"

xmlns:xql="http://metalab.unc.edu/xql/">

//meta_data[@name="a document"]

XQL Request processing

author="Amy" date_time="12 23 2001 12:23:00 EDT"

I keep getting namespace information that I don't want. What
I want returned to me is:

Hi Amy,

Have you tried putting the "exclude-result-prefixes" attribute in your stylesheet root element? Like so: exclude-result-prefixes="prefix-A prefix-B ...", where "prefix-X" is the prefix you'd like to exclude from your output.

Hope that helps,

Chris
