I need to access the userID of person logged in, in my session EJB. I do not want to pass this information on every method call to the EJB's. Is there a way to have this information available on the EJB container.

Given that the session beans may not be on the same server as the servlets, you will need to either pass the user ID with every session call, or use stateful session beans to hold this information between calls.
