Hello, We have a distributed app using servlets in the web tier. The app has long-lived asynhronous processes and state, and it's desirable for a user to log in from another computer to continue their work, or log back in the next day to continue... One way that we can manage user state is to hold it in the servlet context, and reference that, "pointing" by userid... but it seems that it might be attractive to have a new client session from the same user actually join (reuse) a previous session which is in progress. Is there a way to force such a thing to happen, rather than the default behavior of getting a new HttpSession object? Thanks! Barry    More>>
