I'm trying to send an email from an applet. Since java's sandbox blocks any connection to remote machines (Smtp server) and that our web hosting company doesn't support servlets yet, I was wondering if it's possible to take input from an applet and send it to a CGI script? Something that would look like this: Send the content of JTextField1 (to:), JTextField2 (From:), JTextField3 (Subject:) and JTextField4 (Message body)...in order to finally send the dawn message!

As long as the CGI script is running on the web server.... Connecting back to the server is already covered in the FAQ.
