find all SQL server databases on a user's system

Hi guys,

I need to detect all of the SQL Server databases on a user's sytem and let them choose one from the list. (This is in a Java desktop app). I would like to make this work both for SQL Server 2000 databases and SQL Server 7 databases. I really appreciate any help you can give me.
